Iban Ortuzar
Founding member of ICC with over 30 years of experience in investment and management.
Over the course of his career, Iban has supervised the financing of numerous real estate transactions liaising with institutional Investors and Pan-European Family Offices while acting as local operating partner.
Prior to this, Iban worked at Private Equity group Inova Capital and Inversiones Ibersuizas. He began his career in capital markets, managing equity Mutual Funds at Baring Asset Management in London and brokering financial futures and options at FIMAT Futures (Société Générale Group).
Iban has a BSc in Economics (Hons) from Buckingham University (UK) and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona).
Jose Luis Mendoza
Founding member with over 25 years of experience in the financial and real estate sectors.
José Luis was CFO at PROFIM, a pioneering financial consultancy firm in Spain. Prior to that, he was a partner in and Financial Director at Alius Inversiones, a Real Estate Development company. During his time with Alius, he worked on the development of residential and industrial buildings, car parks and a shopping centre. Prior to this position, he worked in a Spanish venture capital firm and at Accenture in strategic consultancy.
He is a Civil Engineer and has an MSc in Structural Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from INSEAD.
Jose Luis Martínez Sainz-Vizcaya
Founding partner with over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector. José Luis has worked for a number of international development and investment firms including IDI Gazeley Brookfield Logistics Properties, ING Investment Management, Rodamco NV and Carvall Investors (Cargill).
Under his management in these companies, he has developed, acquired, managed and sold real estate assets from office, industrial, retail and residential sectors with a Net Asset Value of over 3 billion euros.
José Luis holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering, a Doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a General Management Program (PDG) at IESE Business School.
Álvaro Plaza
Founding partner with over 25 years of experience in the national and international real estate sector, both in the corporate valuations area and in investments.
He has a solid track record in the management, acquisition, leasing and sale of real estate portfolios for different uses: logistics, offices, retail and residential.
He has played key roles in companies such as CB Richard Ellis (executive director), Carvall Investors (Cargill), and GBS Finanzas Investment Banking as Real Estate Director. Chief advisor for various “family office” private investment groups and Acquisitions Director for Skipper Capital (IFA).
Alvaro holds a degree in International Business Administration from The American University of Paris, France. He has attended managerial courses at IE Business School.
